Salon Guinea Pig - www.salonguineapig.co.uk

I thought I'd write another post to remind you all of Salon Guinea Pig UK.

www.salonguineapig.co.uk is a free and national website that matches volunteer models with trainee beauticians, hairdressers and aesthetics delegates who are doing assessments under supervision.

It is free to register and use.  I myself discovered this website in late 2011, by February 2012 I was working for Salon Guinea Pig UK and by 2013 I had obtained around £5000 or free and discounted treatments as a model!  (I appeared on a Channel 4 documentary about this with Harry Wallop called "Something For Nothing".  Salon Guinea Pig has also appeared on Channel 4's Superscrimpers twice.  We have quite a number of members and plenty of treatments on the website.

The treatments available on Salon Guinea Pig range from artificial nails and hair extensions to botox, dermal fillers and fat freezing.  Joining up for free with gmail gives you the opportunity to try all of these on a budget.  If your studying beauty, hair or aesthetics this website allows you to find models easily for your assessments.

The revenue from Salon Guinea Pig UK is obtained from sponsors of the website.  A sponsor who places an advertisement with Salon Guinea Pig will get exposure to our 17000+ members who are growing rapidly.  A sponsor will get an advertisement on a rotating banner on the website that links directly to their own website for just £12 per month.  (The sponsor must supply the design/banner).  After the first three months there is no obligation to continue this service.  Anybody interested in being a sponsor can email admin@salonguineapig.co.uk for details.

  2. That was a supposedly qualified hair extension technician. She was mobile and nothing to do with Salon Guinea Pig. Nat's Lavish Locks in Essex.
